Where the hell am I? :: stuff - watches - Omega Dynamic Chronograph

So, I trashed my Poljot Dynamic. What's that you say? Yes, that's what I said, I trashed it. Well, not really trashed so much as caused the chronograph to cease functioning. I suppose that is more accurate. I could go into how, and into why, but that would just be a story that I would rather not relive. In any case...

After I broke it and let it go on the sale forum for a silly low price, I found myself lusting after the general design of the watch. Since it was based on the Omega Dynamic, and I had recently sold the Wenger GST Sea and a couple others, I found myself with what I thought to be enough funds to pick up a gently used Dynamic. How about that, I was right!

I missed out on a eBay auction for one by just a few seconds (as usual), and then posted a WTB on as may sales forums as I could find. Lo' and behold someone came calling, and four days later this beauty, complete with box and papers, was in my hands!

UPDATE: The watch is sitting on a shelf, having been nearly demolished by my "watch guy". The watch no longer hacks, and according to Omega needs a complete overhaul, a new minute hand on the chrono counter, and a new seal. Thanks, fucker, for trashing a watch I barely got to wear for a week. Prick.
