Where the hell am I? :: stuff - watches - Orient "Yellow Beast"

The Yellow Beast...

Long been a favorite on the PMWF (in all its color variants, orange, blue, grey, black, red), I, for some reason, held off buying one for some time. Even when I saw one live in New Orleans, I still hesitated. No good reason I can think of, just uncertain that I would really like it. So, I finally decided to go for one when I began to look for a watch to wear on my honeymoon to Hawaii (hell, WIS?). I wanted something fun and different, and a yellow dial is certainly different for my collection. I went back and forth between this one and an Orange Monster and opted for the Orient when one popped up on the PMWS&TF.

WAY glad I bought this one! It's big, yellow, and cool. My first power reserve complication, which is pretty nifty. Every time I was in the water in Hawaii this watch was on my wrist. The only issue the watch has is the bezel does not line up right on the mark. The dot is just a hair to the right or left of 12. A minor thing that I have grown to overlook.

If you have been holding out getting one of these, STOP IT! Just buy the damn thing, you won't regret it.
