Seiko Mile Marker SLT095
I did not want the watch. Not the first time I saw it,
anyway. Nah, not for me, I thought. Then, I tried one on. Damn.
All over after that. I was with my soon to be wife when I tried
it on and she saw the excitement in my eyes, and agreed to buy
it for me as a wedding gift! I LOVE my wife. She knows how to
please me. *ahem" Anyway...
The mile marker feature, granted, I'll probably never use it.
But, I have been wanting to go hiking this summer, so we'll see.
The dual time zone setting on this watch is a breeze. You set
the 24-hour hand to your "home time" then pull the
crown out one click and set the 12 hour hand backwards or
forwards to the local time. It was a snap to set! Naturally, the
perpetual calendar is a cool feature as well. The only, ONLY
thing that would make this watch even better is if it was a
kinetic or solar, something to eliminate the battery change that
is inevitable with this watch.
