Where the hell am I? :: stuff - watches - Yema Seaspdier

This watch caused quite a bit of discussion on the Seiko & Citizen Forum when it was first posted, "Okay, no more complaining about the lack of a cheap 4S15 Diver". The big deal was the Seiko 4s15 movement - which normally will run you from $400 and up, way up - stuck inside this kind of ugly watch. Well, that was my first impression, along with a lot of others on that forum. However, as people jumped on the bandwagon, and more pictures began to appear, I found myself liking the watch more and more. Finally, after 18 days of Yema talk, I gave in and purchase what appears to be one of the last few that the seller had (the black and sliver faces were already sold out). It arrived a week later via UPS and I must say, I am pleasantly pleased.

The bezel is truly the odd duck of this watch, I feel. The points at 12 and 4 make it appear somewhat lopsided, and was the first thing that made me shy away when the watch first hit the airwaves. Now, I like it. It's different and I enjoy that. Plus it marks the second blue dial into my little gang.
